It actually didn't need advertisers after its first week because the word of mouth alone can do it. The internet has filled with comments regarding this very brilliant masterpiece.

This film is capable of awakening the nationalism of every Filipino who will watch it. This journey of Luna to freeing the Filipinos from the control of Americans made me appreciate the freedom that I am enjoying right now. It is a quality film that all Filipinos can be really proud of. The producers submitted it as their entry to Oscars as Best Foreign Language Film. And hopefully, they'll bring home the bacon.
