Before AlDub craze, Alden Richards aimed to be famous through the reality talent show Starstruck but he never really gotten a real break as a celebrity that time and Maine Mendoza aka Yaya Dub started her humble beginnings in the world of internet through her video postings.
These two first met in one of the events of Candy Magazine which is the ‘Candy Fair’. Alden was one of the Candy Cuties and Maine was just one of those fans who were wishing to meet and greet with their celebrity crushes. And after that, nobody in the face of the earth knew that the next time they meet, they will be the love team that everyone is talking about here and abroad!
Their first ever encounter in person after a long time happened last Saturday, September 5, in the Broadway Centrum and everyone in the crowd was screaming their hearts out when the two finally met. We have seen how Yaya Dub reacted the way she did, it was not an acting…she was really happy to see Alden! People loved how Eat Bulaga, the longest running noontime show, put the storyline together that really gave viewers something to watch out for.
